Virginiaette Forte, 86, passed away on July 3, 2023, in Pleasant Grove, Utah with her family by her side. Virginiaette was born on December 29, 1936 in St. George, Utah to Marion Higley and Alona Wulffenstein Higley. She married David Forte on July 9, 1957 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.
Virginiaette is survived by her brother Lawrence Higley, 11 children, Alona Rodgers, Marion Forte, Gerald Forte, Lawrence Forte, Tereasa McGregor, Virginia Snyder, Linda Sours, Mellissa Higley, Matthew Forte, Mark Forte, and Ruby Pierce. 22 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Forte, her 2 sons, John Forte and David Forte Jr. her parents and her 3 brothers, Marion Ace Higley, Leonard Gene Higley, and Ray Oliver Higley.
From the time that Virginiaette was born she was on the move. Growing up she was constantly moving from place to place with her parents. This experience of moving as a child helped to prepare her to be a military wife. Virginiaette finally settled down in Alpine, Utah in 1971.
The service for Virginiaette Forte will be held on Friday July 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Anderson and Sons American Fork, 49 East 100 North. A viewing will be held Friday, at 9:45 AM at Anderson and Sons American Fork, 49 East 100 North. Burial will be in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
