Virginia Ludlow

Virginia Clarice Ludlow came into the world on February 11, 1921 in Los Angeles, California. She passed on to the afterlife May 19, 2016 in American Fork, Utah. She was 95 years young! She was born to Harold Benner and Clarice Fish. She grew up near the Hollywood outdoor theaters and had a passion for drama and acting! Though she did not become a great actress, she did write and direct some plays for her church.
Her 2nd passion, writing, was mostly in the form of family Christmas exposés! She was an avid reader, and excellent dancer. She had a lawyer's mind and a socialites' personality. She became one of the 1st women tellers for Bank of America, with the commencement of WWII and continued this profession most of her life. She also did bookkeeping and data processing for various businesses.
She was married to Charles "Max" Ludlow, September 13, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Four children were born to them: Gregory, Gary, Deanna, and Dennis. They lived mostly in California, with periods in Alaska, New York, and Utah. Max, Greg and Gary along with her parents and a brother Loren Libbey preceded her in death. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.
She will be remembered most for her "unconditional" love to others, her happy personality, and her dancing feet.
Funeral services will be held Thursday May 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove 12th Ward, 828 South Locust Ave, Pleasant Grove, Utah where a viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be next to her husband, at East Lawn Cemetery 5757 Greenlock Lane, Sacramento, California.
