Virgil Woodhouse

January 16, 1949 — August 3, 2018

The family and friends of Virgil Gregory "Greg" Woodhouse mourn the passing of his life on August 3, 2018 at his home in Sacramento, California.  He was born on January 16, 1949 in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California to Donald Lee and Audrey Louise (Sitton) Woodhouse and is the oldest of six children.
Greg spent his growing-up years in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California. He was incredibly talented:  a gifted artist as he enjoyed woodworking in his youth, creating unique award-winning custom jewelry, and rebuilding car engines and illegal street racing.  Greg was also an avid surfer with his best friend & brother, Brad.
Greg carried his love of history and antiques into his career as the manager of the Folsom Blvd. Flea Market in Sacramento, California.  He is greatly respected and well-known by the many vendors, collectors, and artisans.
Greg is preceded in death by his mother, and also stepmother, Gay A. Woodhouse.  He is survived by his father, his son, Grady Alan Woodhouse (Stephanie), long-time companion Marcelina "Chelly" Herra, brothers Bradley Woodhouse (Arlene), Charles Woodhouse (Tammi), step-brother Karl Pond (Sharel), sisters Denise Tanner, Leanne Larsen (Charles), and Jennifer Bushman (Bill).
Greg will be forever remembered for his work ethic, integrity, kindness, and sense of humor.  He will be greatly missed.
