Vernon Tippetts Harrington, 82, passed away March 19, 2017 in American Fork, Utah. Born May 26, 1934 in Springville, Utah to LeRoy Charles and May Tippetts Harrington. He married Bonnie Lucile Cowan May 11, 1962 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.
Vernon was a deputy Sherriff for 23 years for Utah County and was sent to many schools for specialized training which blessed his work and the Sheriff's department. He loved camping, 4 wheeling and exploring. He especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, and sons Scott Harrington and Todd Harrington, and a brother Richard Harrington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Joanne Harrington Heaps.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Burial will be in the American Fork Cemetery. Please share a memory at andersonmortuay.com.
