Velvadean Sidwell

Velvadean Emery Sidwell, age 50, passed away May 22, 2018 in Highland, Utah. Born July 12, 1967 in American Fork, Utah to Robert Morris and Bonnie Luella Burbidge Emery.  She married Russell Alan Sidwell July 12, 2007 in Orem, Utah and their marriage was later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple in October 2011.   She was a teacher's Aide at the Dan Peterson School for 27 years.  She loved the outdoors and loved being with children. She was a wonderful care giver.  She participated in Special Olympics and had a love for country music and BYU sports.  She is survived by her husband Russell and her siblings Larry Emery, Lonnie    (Lavern) Emery, Tina Emery, Christine (Richard) Neil, Troy (Denise) Emery, Twilla (Mike) Squire and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Rickey.
Funeral services will be Friday May 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Avenmore Chapel 5848 West 11000 North Highland, Utah.  A visitation will be held at the Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Chapel 6141 West 11000 No. Highland, Utah Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Friday from 9:00 to 9:45 am prior to the services.   Burial in the Alpine Cemetery.
