Tyler Brian Mayes's journey came to an end on June 27, 2024, in the serene American Fork Canyon. Today we remember and celebrate the life of Tyler Mayes, a bright soul who touched the hearts of all who knew him. Born on October 4, 2002, in Ogden, UT.
Tyler had a keen intellect and a natural curiosity about the world around him. His inquisitive nature led him to learn and understand how things worked, inspiring his dream of becoming an inventor someday.
His infectious laughter and genuine friendship made Tyler a cherished individual wherever he went. With a quick wit and a kind heart, he could always be counted on to bring a smile to those around him, no matter the situation. His love for science, honesty, and creativity endeared him to all who crossed his path. Tyler especially enjoyed going on adventures with his friends and beloved dog Bentely.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Terrah Anderson and Jeffrey Mayes, as well as his sisters, Katelyn and Kelsie Mayes. Tyler also cherished many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold him in their hearts. Tyler is preceded in death by his sister Hailey Mayes.
In remembrance of Tyler, a public viewing will be held on July 11, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Chapel, 6141 West 11000 North.
As we gather to honor his memory, let us reflect on the joy and laughter Tyler brought into our lives and the legacy of kindness and curiosity he leaves behind. Tyler's spirit will always shine brightly in our memories, guiding us with his warmth and compassion. May he rest in peace, knowing he was loved deeply by all who knew him.
