Thora Chadwick

Thora Goff Chadwick, 85, passed away on December 14, 2022, in Riverton, UT. She was born May 13, 1937 in Loa, UT to Aaron Clive and Ethel Wood Goff. She married Vernon Chris Chadwick on January 13, 1956 in American Fork, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on May 8, 1992 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Provo Temple.

Thora served as president of the American Fork Fire Ladies and sang in the American Fork Choir. She was an excellent seamstress and loved working with her hands. Additionally, Thora worked at Highland Elementary School as a Media Specialist for over twenty years. She was very active in the LDS church and served in many callings.

Thora is survived by her children: Dale C. (Kaylene) Chadwick, Mary Ann (John) Fowler, David Chadwick, Dean (Julie) Chadwick, Daryl (Tina) Chadwick, 17 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, her siblings: Don Goff and Leola Prestwich.

Thora is preceded in death by her husband Chris, her parents, her siblings: Jim Goff, Helen Walker, Ida Shepp, Clara Sylvia, Dent Goff, Lois Sherwood, Marion Bud Goff, Ray Goff, Mary Goff, Guy Goff, and Max Goff.

The service for Thora Chadwick will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00 AM at American Fork 6th Ward, 320 North 100 East, American Fork. A viewing will be held Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Anderson and Sons American Fork,49 East 100 North, American Fork and Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 AM at the American Fork 6th Ward, 320 North 100 East, American Fork.

Interment will take place at the American Fork Cemetery located at 600 North Center Street, American Fork.
