Thelma Twitchell Wall, 92, passed away May 8, 2016 in Highland, Utah. She was born January 27, 1924 in Lyman, Wyoming to Franklin Potter and Myrtle Bradshaw Twitchell. She married John Dean Wall December 1, 1941 in Evanston, Wyoming.
Thelma was known for her genuine smile, concern for others and her hard work ethic. She worked as a postal clerk in Mountain View, Wyoming for 27 years. She spent hours and hours on family history. She valued her membership and testimony of the LDS Church and its teachings.
Thelma is survived by her children: Floyd (Dona) Wall, Melvin Wall, Ralph (Bev) Wall, Jean (Dale) Olsen, 15 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. Her siblings include: Valeene Field, Jean Bluemel, Jerry Twitchell, Rulon Lee Twitchell, and Ann Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings: Marcelle Carter, Rebecca Micheli, Duella Rollins, and daughter-in-law Linda Wall.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Highland 30th LDS Ward, 9626 North 6800 West in Highland, Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Chapel, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland and Saturday at the church from 9:00-9:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Lyman, Wyoming at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers or gifts please donate to the charity of your choice.
