Terry Malcolm Rowe
26 March 1942 – 29 April 2022
Terry Rowe, born to Howard Francis Rowe and Ileene Mary Iris Roberts in England during World War II, was a wonderful, loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He grew up in Ocean Falls, British Columbia, Canada, which is accessible only via boat or seaplane. After graduating high school, he joined the Canadian Air Force and was an Air Traffic Controller. He loved sharing stories about his unique childhood experiences, including his working at the pulp and paper mill, playing the guitar in a band called The Combo Kids, hunting, fishing, boating, and killing an attacking rooster with a slingshot. He also loved sharing stories about his Air Traffic Control years.
He moved to California when he married and had two children: Kristie Suzanne and Kelly Steven. He obtained his Bachelors Degree and was a Business Executive in Finance. He married Cheri’ Rene’ Strahle in 1987 and became a Bonus Dad to her six children: Michael Scott, Bryan Kenneth, Suzette Rene’, Tina Louise, David Harold and Candi Anne. Terry and Cheri’ moved to Eagle Mountain, Utah in 2016.
Terry enjoyed his family, camping, fishing, writing poetry, playing the guitar, and interacting with people. Terry easily made friends and has kept his friendships with many of them from high school throughout his life. He was also a great cook and he had a caretaker personality. Terry’s presence will be missed.
