Teresa Collins

Teresa Lyn Bird completed her journey here on earth on January 10th 2018.
She was born in American Fork, Utah on July 16th 1959. The fourth of 5 children born to Ted L. and Elaine Greening Bird.
Teresa was a happy child that lit up the world when she smiled. She enjoyed many things in her life, but her kids were most precious to her. She was a talented swimmer in her youth and she loved to cook. She was known for her gathering of family and the food she liked to share.
Out of high school she moved to Las Vegas where she married Jim Ciao. They had 3 beautiful children together. She later divorced
In Las Vegas she spent many long summer nights out at the park with her family flying kites. She loved the sunshine and the happiness she felt when spending time with family in it.
Also in Las Vegas, Teresa attended Travel agent school and remained on at the school to teach and work. She had a few jobs that she loved but this was one of her favorites.
Teresa then moved back to Utah and married Bret Collins. She had 2 more beautiful boys to add to her family. Teresa's children lit her life and they will miss her deeply.
Teresa is survived by her 5 children, Nick (Jessica) Ciao, Nicole (Tyson) Dahl, Cody Ciao, Dylan and Bret Collins. 2 Grandchildren: Kayden, and Easton Dahl. Brother Marty Bird and sister Ranae (Jack) Murphy. Many aunts Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Teresa is preceded in death by: Her parents, brothers Ted R., and Chuck Bird and nephew Shawn Murphy
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 16th 2018 at 2 p.m. in Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork A viewing will be held from 12:45 to 1:45p.m. prior to the services. Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com.
