Ted Stewart Strong (T-Bone), 85, of American Fork, passed away May 27, 2018 at his home peacefully surrounded by his family. Born December 3, 1932 in Springville, Utah the son of Edgar Rowland and Bessie Isabell Stewart Strong. He married Gayle Crookston December 21, 1961 in Provo, Utah. Ted worked at Geneva Steel for 35 years as a Millwright. He coached little league baseball for 28 years. He served as the managing director of the American Fork Senior Citizens. Ted was an avid gardener and shared the bounty of his garden with everyone. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. Most of all, he loved kids and that was all kids. He never let an opportunity go by to share his joy and wisdom with them and all. Survivors include: his wife Gayle; children, Bill (April) Strong; Rosemarie (Steve) Welch; Ken (Christine) Strong; Brian Strong; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday June 1, 2018 at 2:30 pm in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork where a viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 pm and Friday from 1:45 to 2:15pm prior to the services. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery. Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com
