Susan "Diane" Clark, who just turned 65 on April 24th, left this world peacefully on May 1st, 2024, after a heroic battle with cancer this last year. She was surrounded by family when she left to join her father, Arleigh Sherman McCoy II, and son, William Eugene Clark III. Diane is survived by her mother, Phyllis Ann McCoy; husband, William "Bill" Eugene Clark II; son, Kevin Russel Clark (Tasha); sister, Gaylynn McCoy (Mark); and brothers, Arleigh Sherman McCoy III, Larry "Jay" McCoy (Debbie), Thomas Allen McCoy, David Wayne McCoy, Warren Dean McCoy; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her extended family, where she took on the role of "mom", Jamie Nicole Cuevas (Jesus), James Kevin Clark (Ashley), and their daughters Leona and Willow.
Diane was a wonderful and selfless soul who helped anyone in need. She would feed those who needed food, house those who needed a place to stay, organize every family event, and had the hand for crafts and self-storage which amazed everyone. She was truly a wonderful person who will be missed dearly by so many.
Diane did not want a funeral, however, there will be a celebration of life at an undetermined date. Details will be announced by her husband, Bill, when the time comes. Please share a memory on her memory wall on the andersonmortuary.com website.
