Steven Richard Pack M.D., 56, passed away September 24, 2015 due to complications from viral meningitis and a stroke in Provo, Utah. Born October 27, 1958 to Theron Richard and Donna Colleen Egan Pack.
Steven was raised in Salt Lake City, although he spent most of his summers at the family cabin in Kamas, Utah. He was an outdoors and sports enthusiast.
He was married to his sweetheart, Cindee Anderson Pack, August 30, 1980. Steven graduated from the University of Utah Medical School and was board certified in Emergency Medicine. He was a caring and gifted physician, serving many in the Salt Lake and Utah County area. He was a loving and supportive husband, father and could often be found on the golf course with his boys. He was a faithful member of the LDS church, serving a mission in Bogota, Colombia. He served in many church positions. His most enjoyable callings were in Scouting and working with the Young Men. He loved the boys he served.
He is survived by his wife, Cindee, his children: Tyler R. Pack, Camie (Richard) Larsen, Colton D. Pack, two grandsons: Daxton and Dalton Larsen, his mother Donna, and sisters: Vikki Carrel, Cathy Goodrich, and Dehbe Collett. He is preceded in death by his father.
We are grateful to be an eternal family.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North American Fork, UT.
Family and friends are invited to a gathering prior to the memorial services from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
Interment will be at the Kamas Cemetery, Kamas, Utah.
