Shirley Jensen

Shirley was born in 1928 to Harold Glenn and Illa Laursen Williams and passed away December 31, 2016, at the age of 88. She is survived by four children: Ilene (Dean) Davies, Sheree (Kevin) Russon, Jay (Kathleen) Jensen, and Tom Jensen; her brother, Boyde (Joan) Williams; eleven grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded her in death by her husband, Mac, sister, June Phillips, brother, Jack and a grandson, Cale Jensen. She married her high school sweetheart, Mac Jensen in June 1947. As a longtime resident of American Fork, Shirley worked at Chipman's Department Store and retired from the Utah Developmental Center. She enjoyed her grandchildren, music, bowling, golf, going to movies and lunch with her friends, and traveling. The family would like thank her caregiver, Lexi Ross for her kindness over the past four years and the staff of Highland Glen Memory Care. Funeral services will be held at Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork on January 5, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held at the Mortuary Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
