Sherry Greene

Sherry Ellen Robinson Greene,69, of Lehi, Utah past away peacefully on May 19, 2021.  She was born March 7, 1952 to Ray and June Proctor Robinson in American Fork, Utah. She was the first and only beautiful baby girl born to Ray and June. She was the 5th child of 8. First was Jack, then Kay, Les, Gary, Sherry, Jay, John, and Alan. She lived a happy life on the farm learning to work hard.

Sherry graduated from American Fork High School in 1970. She went on to attend Utah Technical College, where she graduated with a degree in marketing. While in college she met the love of her life Russell Kim Greene. After Kim graduated college, they were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on June 25th 1976. They spent their first 27 years in American Fork. Together they had 3 children, Misty Ann, Russell Kim Jr and then came Shelly Beth on the same day as her older sister, just 3 years apart.

Sherry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved the church and her Heavenly Father. She served in many callings including primary teacher, primary president, relief society presidency and librarian. Kim and Sherry built a new home in Lehi in 2003 where she spent the rest of her life.

Sherry loved to sew, do crafts, and make dolls. She was a fabulous cook! Going to Jackson Hole and Disneyland were her all time favorite vacations and she looked forward to them every year. She loved going hunting, fishing, and camping with her family. Spending time with them was something that Sherry always cherished.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband, Kim, of 44 years; 3 Children – Misty (Don) – Lindon, Russell (Mindy) – Saratoga Springs, Shelly – Lehi. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers – Jack, Kay and Gary.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 24 at 11:00am with a viewing one hour prior to the services at the Lehi 46th Ward building – 851 N 1200 E, Lehi, UT. A viewing will be held Sunday, May 23 from 6:00-8:00pm at Anderson and Sons Mortuary in American Fork. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery.
