Shanna Wilkinson

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Shanna Laurel Peterson Wilkinson, age 75, passed away August 27, 2014, in Salt Lake City surrounded by her loving family, after medical complications from surgery for liver cancer.
Born to James Cloye and Violet Atwood Peterson in Price, Utah December 11, 1938. Shanna graduated from Carbon High School where she enjoyed participating in Pep Club and was the 1955 homecoming queen.
Shanna was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After graduating from LDS Business College she worked as a secretary at a Salt Lake law firm and many years in secretarial positions in the South Sanpete School District and Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Shanna had a love of books, writing poetry, camping with her family, and compiling family history. Her family was the love of her life.
Survived by her loving husband Eugene LaVar Wilkinson, Cedar Hills, three daughters, Sharalee (Lynn) Willardson-Ephraim, Jana (Brent) Belliston-Woodland Hills, and DeeAnn Purser-Taylorsville; two sons, Reid (Nina) Bean-Richfield, and Nathan (Emily) Anderson-Cedar Hills; Sister Sharra (Gary) Booth-Highland, sister-in-law Lillian Peterson-Murray, Stepmother Phebe Peterson-Wellington, 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother Gareth Peterson, niece Terri Ann Nichol, and husbands Richard Bruce Bean and Warren Anderson. Funeral services will be held at the Cedar Hills Stake Center 3950 W Cedar Hills Dr., Cedar Hills, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11:00 in the Cedar Hills Stake Center 3950 W Cedar Hills Dr. A viewing will be held from 9:45 to 10:45am at the church prior to the services. Interment at Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland, Utah. Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com.
