Sandi Boley

Sandi Baumgartner Boley, 85, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sandi was born on April 26, 1937 in Hebbronville, Texas to Raul Ramones and Dolores Limon. She moved to Missouri where she joined the military and met Bruce Baumgartner. They married and had three boys; David, Bruce and Roger. She loved serving her country and was a very patriotic American.

Sandi moved to Muskegon, Michigan as a single mother in 1964 and was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the family message from the missionaries and decided to move to Utah to be closer to church headquarters. She worked many jobs to support her sons and eventually met Kay Boley at a church dance. They were married in 1979 and later sealed for time and all eternity in the Provo Temple.

Sandi was a social butterfly and enjoyed people. She was loving and giving to all those around her. She served as Treasurer for the Republican Women, was active with the Sons of the Pioneers and loved a good BYU football or basketball game. She also enjoyed working as a bilingual guide on Temple Square and loved bringing the goodness of the gospel to everyone she met.

Sandi is survived by her husband Kay Boley; her sons David Baumgartner and Roger (Nancy) Baumgartner; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.

Sandi is preceded in death by her parents Raul Ramones and Dolores Limon Ramones; her son Bruce Baumgartner; siblings Judy Guerrero, Clementine Ramones, Maria "Bell" Ramones, Paul Ramones and John Ramones.

The service for Sandi Boley will be held on Saturday, July 30th at 11:00 AM at the Orem Park 7th Ward, 50 South 750 West, Orem, Utah. A viewing will be conducted prior to the service from 9:45 AM-10:45 AM.
