SamanthaAnn May Clark was born May 2, 2005, in Orem, Utah, and passed on January 18, 2023, in Spring Creek, Nevada.
Samantha was the definition of larger-than-life as she battled cancer since age two and taught us to love life no matter what and laugh at the small things. Samantha never let her treatments get in the way of doing what she wanted to do whether it was playing softball with a port in her chest or learning to ride a horse. Schooling and school activities were a priority to Samantha, she was currently a senior at Spring Creek High school and always worked hard to have good grades. She participated and excelled in many school activities such as FFA, cheer, golf, student council, junior and high school rodeo, softball, and more. Samantha was often told that she had limitations or would not be able to do something and she always found a way. Samantha even delayed chemo to participate In queening, barrel racing, and pole bending to be crowned the Silver State Stampede Princess.
Samantha loved her family, her mom is her best friend and she is the best sister who taught her brothers things that they would never have learned in life. Samantha married the love of her life and partner in crime on August 6, 2022. Samantha made friends easily and many of them became family. Samantha also loved her animals including Faith and Tiny.
Samantha is survived by a loving family including her mother, Kimberly Clark, three brothers, Isaiah Ocana, Dylan Clark, and Diesel Clark, grandparents, Carl and Carmen Richins, and her husband Brayden Gottfried. Father, Ryan Clark and grandparents Craig and Vicky Clark, and Lettie and Lonnie Gunter. Additionally, there are many other family members and friends who love Samantha.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Anderson & Sons Mortuary 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 AM prior to the service. Interment will be held at the American Fork Cemetery.
Additionally, a celebration of Samantha’s life will be held in Elko Nevada February 3 at the Basque House 1601 Flagview Drive at 3:00.
Samantha wished that any donations be sent to her mother to assist with caring for her brothers.
