Robert Carl Myers

Robert “Bob” Carl Myers, 68, passed away on February 26, 2023, in Payson, Utah. Bob was born in American Fork, Utah on April 1, 1954 to Donald Myers and Beverly Holden Smith.  Bob married Judy Boren on June 14, 1974 in Orem, Utah.

Bob was a very hard and humble worker.  He was a Journeyman Carpenter at the Kennecott Copper Mine early in their marriage. He loved to tinker and later switched gears and became a marine technician for Eagle Marine and then Jones Marine.  It was very fitting that he was born on April Fools' Day as he had a very sarcastic and witty sense of humor that kept his family on their toes and everyone full of laughs. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  

Bob is survived by his wife, Judy, siblings Richard Myers and Jann (Kirk) Burton, his children Adrian (Tony) Branca, Jen (Ray Crow) Durrant, and Kevin (Carly) Myers, as well as nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dennis Myers, and son Robert Ryan Myers.

The celebration of life for Bob Myers will be held on Saturday, March 4th at 12:00 PM at Anderson and Sons Mortuary American Fork, 49 East 100 North. A viewing will be held prior to the celebration from 10:45 AM-11:45 AM.  Graveside services will follow at the American Fork Cemetery.
