Robert Gomez

Robert Valles Gomez, 76, of Alpine, Utah passed away peacefully July 25, 2020 surrounded by his family.  Born August 20, 1943 in Los Angeles, California the son of Raymond C. Gomez and Alice R. Valles.  He married Peggy Diane Ritchie April 12, 1969 in Hanford, California.

Robert loved his family, he loved spending time with them and especially his grandchildren.  He loved coaching little league baseball and Pop Warner football. He loved working on cars in his younger years, and watching old war and cowboy movies in his later years.  Robert was a foster parent for many years.  He was proud of his service to his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include:  his wife Peggy, children  Tami (Tom) Gomez ,Michael (Stacey) Gomez, Robert Gomez, Angela (Michael) Cason, 9 grandchildren, his siblings, Martha Acosta, Rebecca Olson, Michael Gomez, Margaret Borbola and Mary Alvarado. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Patricia Serna.
