In Loving Memory of Richard Alvin Hardy
On September 14, 2024, Richard Alvin Hardy peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 4, 1962, in Salt Lake City. Rick was adopted into his forever family at the age of five with loving parents and many brothers and sisters. He grew up in the Salt Lake City area.
He married Linda Layne Jensen May 20, 1983 in the Salt Lake temple. Together they have 6 children Andrew (Chrissy), Ashton (Jordan), Timothy (Kaylynn), Parker (Isabella), Madison (Jaden) and Kyler. They have 17 grandchildren and another due to arrive in November. He is preceded in death by his father, Alvin Wesley Hardy, his mother, Ruth Bringhurst Hardy, his brother Kurt Bringhurst Hardy and his sister Lisa Hardy.friends,
Construction led him to become a successful business owner in the industry, leaving a lasting impact on all those he worked with.
Rick's joy for life extended beyond his work, as he found solace in hobbies like hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He took pride in his handmade jewelry creations and cherished moments spent with his family. As a husband, father, and friend, Rick was known for his unwavering positivity and the genuine connections he formed with everyone he encountered. . Rick's memory will be forever cherished by his family and friends, who will miss his infectious smile and compassionate spirit
A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Richard Alvin Hardy will be held September 21, 2024, at 12: 00 pm in the Hillcrest 2nd Ward Chapel, 1120 North 150 West, American Fork, UT 84003. A viewing will be from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. on the day of the service in the Hillcrest 2nd Ward Chapel. All who knew and loved Rick are welcome to join in paying their respects and sharing fond memories of a truly remarkable man. Burial will be at the American Fork Cemetery following the service.
