Phyllis Lavon Cleghorn Nash, 83, passed away January 30, 2015 in Cedar Hills, Utah. Born February 1, 1931 in American Fork, Utah to Willard Robert and Cleone Martin Cleghorn. She married Dale Preston Nash November 10, 1949 in American Fork, Utah.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and loved spending time in the temple and doing family history work. She was a member of the ladies club, Junior Arlitra. Her father was a miner, so she grew up exploring American Fork Canyon and loved spending time there. For the last 20 years, she and her husband have resided in Scenic, Arizona.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Dale, her children, Richard (Sandra) Nash and Miriam (Richard) Tomlinson, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and her sister, Lorene (Kenneth) Carlton. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
A viewing will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., following the viewing.
