Norma Dean Carter Lowe
August 27,1933 to April 17, 2025
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the beautiful life of Norma Dean Carter Lowe, as she returned to the Father's presence on April 17, 2025. She lived a life of faith, service, and love, always putting others before herself and sharing her light with everyone she met. A devoted servant of the Lord, Norma dedicated much of her life to her church, serving in many roles but always finding her greatest joy in working with the youth. She guided, uplifted, and inspired countless young hearts, leaving a legacy of faith, kindness, and unwavering devotion. Above all, Norma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was the proud mother of five children, the beloved grandmother to 27, the great-grandmother to 49, and the great-great-grandmother to 4. Her love and wisdom shaped generations, with her family being the heart of her life. She is survived by four of her five children. Dennis (Stephanie) Lowe, Richard(MaryAnna) Lowe, Michelle (Ben) Pollchik, Lori (Gary) Summers, and her son-in-law, John Rice. She is joyfully reunited in heaven with her husband, Everett Reed Lowe, her daughter Carolyn Rice, her parents Reed and Severena Carter, and countless generations that preceded her.
Rather than mourn, we invite you to celebrate her incredible time on Earth at a special Celebration of Life gathering. Please join us on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 835 North 900 East, American Fork, UT (Utah Stake Developmental Ward), including a viewing from 9:45 am to 10:45 am. The viewing will be followed by a memorial service from 11:00 am to 12:00pm (noon) as we share stories and memories encompassed in love in her honor.
Interment will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Washington City Cemetery, located at 300 North 300 East in Washington, Utah 84780.
In keeping with her vibrant spirit, we encourage everyone to wear bright colors—a reflection of the joy and warmth she brought to all of us. Though she will be deeply missed, her love, faith, and example will live on in all of us who have known her.
