Nancy Liebelt of American Fork, Utah, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Mountain Point Hospital in Lehi due to complications following surgery. She was born in American Fork to Arno and Elenore Gangien Liebelt on September 14, 1956. She graduated from American Fork High School where she excelled in athletics, participating in basketball, track and softball and one very memorable game of powderpuff football. She also loved racquetball, tennis, and golf and other sports.
Educated in accounting, she worked as a title specialist purchasing land for cell phone towers and gas pipelines. This occupation allowed her to work in several different states where she made many lasting friends.
Nancy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and valued always holding a current temple recommend.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Arno T. and Eric. She is survived by her sisters Mary (John) Gray of Lehi and Hedy McClellan of Syracuse.
A graveside service will be held at American Fork Cemetery on Friday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m. A viewing will be held at Anderson and Sons Mortuary in American Fork at noon.
