Myron Wilkins

Myron Homer Wilkins died on April 19, 2019 in his home in American Fork.

He was born on December 4, 1940 in Provo, Utah to Lewis D Wilkins and Afton Elizabeth Vincent Young. He later married Sandra Pyper on August 24, 1962 in Provo, Utah.

He loved fishing, camping, story telling, gardening, and being around his family.  He was a hard worker.  He served in the U.S Navy aboard the USS Hancock for 3 years. He was employed at Mountain States Steel and retired from Utah Pacific Bridge and Steel.

Survivors include his wife, children: Laurel Wilkins (Bob) Watters, Jodi (Dana M.)Wilkins, Michelle Wilkins Vanausdal, Jennifer Wilkins (Kelly) Kinsey, Krisann Wilkins (Shaun) Rasmussen, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and his extra daughters: Kimberly Draper Waelty and Heather Duvall Rasmussen and sister-in laws: Diane Wilkins and Claire Jones. Preceded in death by his grandchild Kory Kay Kinsey, a great grandchild Jayden Lynne Williams, his parents, his two brothers Louis Wilkins and Eldon “Rus” Jones, a sister Barbara Young (Joe) Kratz, and his step dad Grant Young.

A celebration of life will be scheduled by the family at a later time.
