Mason Tyler Bennett, age 50, passed away on Sunday March 6, 2016 in his home in Lehi, Utah. Born in Salem, Oregon to Marion Earnest Bennett and Judy Marie Blischke. He married Angeline Marie Lozano in Salem, Oregon and their marriage was later sealed in the Seattle LDS Temple.
Mason loved to play games, especially with family and friends, both board and PC games. He was an enthusiastic Star Wars fan. He was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. He was passionate about his work and it was reflected in his continual pursuit of expertise in his field.
He loved the gospel and had a strong testimony that he was always eager to share. He was a naturally gifted mentor, leader and teacher. He had an amazing sense of humor. Mason was a loving and devoted husband and father, a tenderhearted and truly exceptional man.
Mason is survived by his wife and children; Michael Bennett, Amanda and Kyle Anderson, David Bennett, Jacob Bennett, Thomas Bennett, Adam Bennett, Rachael Bennett, Kathryn Bennett, his parents, his sister Karol Bond, and his granddaughter Sabriel.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at North Lake 3rd Ward, 465 West 700 South, Lehi. Viewings will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and Friday from 11:45-12:45 at the church prior to the services.
