Mary Bird, 76, passed away on April 3, 2023, in Provo, Utah. Mary was born on June 6, 1946 in Springville, Utah to Paul and Venice Beals. Mary married Raymond Bird on June 25, 1965 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Mary spent several years working as a bus aide for Alpine School District and enjoyed getting to know the students with whom she interacted. In her free time, Mary could be found working on crafts, and doing family history. Mary loved working on genealogy; serving two missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a genealogist, cherishing the opportunity to help others learn their own family history. Family was the most important thing to her. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family, attending her children and grandchildren's activities.
Mary is survived by her husband, Ray; children, Zachary (Julie) Bird, Melissa (Quinn) Cook, Emily (Bryce) Schulzke; brother, Joe (Debbie) Beals; as well as 10 grandchildren, Brecken (Andrew), Courtney, Kelsey (Tanner), Ashlyn, Alexis, Shante, Jazalyn, Thomas, Brittnee (Matthew), Logan; one great-grandchild, Beckham; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Venice.
