With her family by her side, Marisa Plonia Kimball Anderson peacefully returned to her heavenly home on Friday, March 15, 2019.
Marisa was born in Torrance, California. When she was a teenager, her family moved to Bountiful, Utah. She loved her childhood days filled with family, friends and just enough adventure. Marisa met Steve, her husband and devoted companion of 36 years, while attending Brigham Young University (he’s still somewhat amazed that she actually said “yes”). They were sealed together forever in the Jordan River Temple and their love for each other grew stronger and sweeter with each passing year. She earned a degree in business and enjoyed a brief career as a computer systems analyst. Marisa was so excited to be a mother and was deeply, completely and eternally devoted to her family. She was the heart of the home and made it a place of love and peace. She had many virtues and talents—warm, kind, thoughtful, bright, resilient, creative, artistic, musical—so many gifts that she freely and humbly shared. Marisa was firmly rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. She believed that all people are children of Heavenly Parents and treated others with kindness and compassion. She understood that “charity never faileth.” Her gentle ways and tenderhearted disposition graced her entire life.
Thank you, Sweetheart...we will be together again.
Marisa is survived by her beloved husband Steve, daughter Ashley, son Tyler, brother Chase (Stephanie) Kimball and many extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents F. Heber and Plonia Kimball.
