Marcie K. Jacobsen, beloved fiancé of Eric, daughter, sister, and friend, was welcomed to her heavenly home by her mother, April 24, 2021. Marcie passed away after a short and painful fight with cancer. She was a daughter of Maela and Nyle Jacobsen, born January 14, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Marcie graduated from Lehi High School class of 2010. She participated in the color guard which performed using flags and rifles. It was fun and entertaining to watch her during the football half time shows.
After high school, Marcie had various jobs. She was a hard worker, always doing her best. Currently, she was employed with Home Depot.
Marcie was blessed with many talents. She was a gifted seamstress and very creative in many ways. She could put colors and designs together that were amazing. She shared her creativity with family and friends. At Christmas time she loved to make various quilts and other gifts for her nieces, nephews, friends, and family members.
Marcie affected all who knew her. She sometimes showed the world a tough exterior but inside she was kind, thoughtful, sweet, helpful, and generous. She had a wonderful smile and laugh that was a pleasure to behold. Marcie was an excellent cook. She often helped her mother can fruits and vegetables. She got her love of cooking and keeping an orderly and clean home from her mother.
Marcie is survived by, fiancé Eric, father Nyle K., twin sister Missy J., brother Evan G. (Ateisa), and much loved nieces and nephews: Kaleb, Raelyn, Averie, and Draven. Marcie was preceded in death by her mother Maela Evans Jacobsen. During the last days of Maela's life, Marcie was ill but demonstrated her strength, her generous, and patience nature by the way she served her mom, dad, and Missy. We love Marcie and she will be dearly missed until the joyous day when we will be reunited again. The immediate family wish to thank all for their concern, thoughts, and prayers during Marcie's final days.
