Lynne haskins

March 17, 1947 — January 20, 2016

Lynne Graham Haskins, our beloved mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2016, and returned to loved ones who had gone before; namely, her mother Reba-Mary "Mickie" McLean Graham, her father Arthur "Roy" Graham, and her loving sister and best friend, Sheina Ballantyne Graham.
Lynne is survived by her brother Kevin Graham (Claire) of Gilbert, AZ, her children: Vanessa Catlett; Stephanie James (Ryan); Graham Haskins (Angie), 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Born on March 17, 1947 in London England, and raised throughout Scotland and England, Lynne was a bright student and a protective older sister. Eventually being accepted to study at Oxford, Lynne would instead accept a position as a nanny in California and travel half-a-world away as a pioneer in her faith, as well as making it possible for her mother, sister and brother to establish themselves in the United States. Lynne sacrificed and earned enough to bring her family to Centerville, Utah where they would live until she attended Brigham Young University.
Always a quick learner, and a quicker wit, Lynne raised a family that appreciated education, learning and cherished their faith in Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. True to her faith, Lynne served as a loving matriarch, a constant source of love, a well of wisdom, and an example of forgiveness and strength. We each loved her dearly and continue to do so. We know we may be reunited because of our Savior's atonement and our Heavenly Father's plan. We do not doubt our mother knew it. Sweet are the uses of adversity. We love you Mother.
A memorial service will be held at the Harvest Hills 6th Ward Chapel, located at 2181 North Harvest Moon Drive (215 West), Saratoga Springs, Utah, on Saturday January 23, 2016 at 11 a.m., where after grave side services will take place at Pleasant Grove City Cemetery along the easterly side of the northern section. Please share a memory with us.
