Lyman Noyes fought a good fight against cancer and died at home in American Fork, Utah on December 12, 2019. He was born February 29, 1948 in Logan, Utah where his father was attending Utah State University. He is the eldest of John Keith and Elizabeth Clark Noyes. Survivors are mother, Elizabeth "Beth" Clark Noyes; sister, Nancy Noyes Farrow (husband, Evan D. Farrow) from Albuquerque, NM; and younger brother, Gordon Clark Noyes (wife Andrea Cortes Noyes) from Draper, Utah.
He grew up on a small farm in Caldwell, Idaho and later attended Ricks College, BYU and graduated from San Diego State University in business. Passions were genealogy, fishing, and lots of talking. Lyman was also an Eagle Scout.
Lyman was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Central Atlantic States Mission (Roanoke, Virginia) and had various other callings and served where needed. Lyman appreciated the love and prayers from the American Fork 13th ward members and his FHE group. He will be buried next to his father and baby sister, Katherine Noyes, in Logan, Utah.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the LDS American Fork North Stake Building located at 975 N. 60 E. American Fork, UT. Viewing is at the Anderson Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N. American Fork on December 19 from 6-8 p.m. and December from 8:45-9:45 a.m. at the AF Stake Building. Burial services will be held at the Logan City Cemetery at 3 p.m. of the same day.
