Lydia Hardy

Lydia Marie Veater Hardy, 79, passed away March 13, 2016 in American Fork, UT. She was born to Ruland Veater and Bernice Houston on September 23, 1936 in Panguitch, Utah. She was raised in Panguitch, graduated fom Panguitch High School.
She married Robert Dean Hardy on July 30, 1955 in Fredonia, AZ. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served in many callings. She had a strong testimony of the gospel.
The greatest blessings in her life are her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She love them and was proud of All of them.
She is survived by her children; Joseph (Calleen) Hardy- Lindon, UT, Denise (Gene) Healey- Lehi, UT, Jackie (Kent) Hoggan- American Fork, UT, sister Betty Frandsen, brothers Ralph Veater and Harry Veater. Proceeded in death by her husband, Robert, parents, daughter Cindy Bishop, sons Lynn Hardy and Dwight Hardy.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 19, 2016 11:00 a.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North American Fork, UT. Friends may visit with family Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary or Saturday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in American Fork Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Shelly and Maline for their devoted service and friendship to our Mother. We also would like to thank Envision Home Health Care for their service.
