Lois Cardon Ewell, 70 passed away September 1, 2016, in American Fork, Utah. She was born November 8, 1945, in Lehi Utah to Jess and Allie Cardon. She married Monte Ewell in American Fork.
Lois managed a Thrifty C for 30 years. She was an angelic mother who worked hard to support her family her whole life. She also spent a lot of time doing community volunteer service. She was a very generous and giving person. Lois loved gardening and spending time in her garden. She was a loyal and true friend with a wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband Monte, children: Brad (Shawnie) Brooks, Melissia (John) Neidermeyer, and Tara (Bill) Hickman, 11 grandchildren, and siblings: Arnie, Colleen, Donna, Margo, and Gary. She was preceded in death by her first husband Irvin Brooks, her son Glen, and her siblings: Kenneth, Jesse, and Dolores.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 9 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the American Fork 25th Ward Chapel, 100 East 300 North. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, and Friday at the church prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be at American Fork Cemetery.
