Lisa Jeanne Frederickson Ingalls, 49, of American Fork, passed away surrounded by her family May 6, 2020 after a long battle for her life. Born April 7, 1971 in Salinas, California the daughter of Thomas Bawden Frederickson and Janice Roberta Clayton. She married Jonathan Earl Ingalls April 30, 1992 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple.
She was an avid reader and spent her life learning, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Kansas, a Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior from California School of Psychology, and a Black Belt in Aikido from New School Aikido in California.
Lisa was a people person. She especially loved helping her clients and her primary students at church. She had a tender heart and was always there with open arms when they needed her. She was an active listener who was always focused on you when she spoke to you. She understood people on a level that astounded many. Ultimately there are no amount of words that can truly capture her grace, kindness, and love. She loved and cared for animals her whole life too and they gravitated to her including her cat Peaches.
She cherished her family and they were the focus of her whole life. Much of her life work was helping her family, friends, and clients to live a more meaningful and purposeful life. She was a mother to all who needed her, a friend to all those around her, and gave everything with the most generous heart. According to her family she was the best wife and mother anyone could have. Lisa is survived by her husband, Jon, her children Cheyenne and Clayton, her sister Michelle (Craig) Jensen and many extended family who love her and will miss her deeply. She is preceded in death by her son Corbin and her parents.
