Lexi Harper Ritchie, 34, of Pleasant Grove, died October 21, 2014 surrounded by her family at home after a long battle with her health. She was born February 19, 1980 in Provo, Utah the daughter of Kelly and Carilee Cox Harper. She married Michael John Ritchie on August 26, 2005 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple.
Lexi was an excellent cook and was writing her own cook book. She celebrated life by planning parties for those she loved. She found great joy in serving people, especially those she taught. Lexi also had a special love for and skill in working with those who are disabled. She loved to read, especially children's literature, where she found inspiration for many of her special lesson plans.
Survivors include: her husband, Michael; parents Kelly and Carilee Harper; her in-laws, Larry and Barbara Guercio and Jay and Lily Ritchie; siblings; Travis (Deborah) Harper; KiLee (Nathan) Taylor; Kaid (Jennifer) Harper; Kasia (Michael) Johnson; Conner (Alicia)Harper; Sherry (Brent)Platt; David (Kathy) Ritchie; Kathy (Matt) Weeks; Kris (J.P.) Pontious; Steve (Chastina) Ritchie; Shauna ( Bob) Bezzant; Kevin Ritchie; Jason(Erika) Ritchie; her grandparents, Soren and Fern Cox; Vee Harper; Rosie Stratton; and many, many nieces and nephews who will miss their favorite aunt.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grove Ward, 445 East 200 South Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services.
