Laurie Kinsey

Laurie Dawn Kinsey, 48, died on June 25, 2019 in American Fork, UT. She was born on June 16, 1971 in Provo, UT.

Our beloved Laurie was a bright light and inspiration to everyone that knew her. Her love of dolls was unmatched. She always had dolls with her. Laurie loved all the family vacations that she was able to take throughout her life, as long as they didn’t include a “dizzy road”. She loved her family immensely. She also loved Disneyland, any Disney movie, Anne of Green Gables, and Annie. Laurie was a multiple gold, silver and bronze medal winner in the Special Olympics.  Laurie attended and graduated from Dan Peterson school in American Fork. She could hardly wait to ride bus 133 each day. She loved her time and everyone there. She then attended ATEC in Lindon where she worked for many years and made many friends. We all loved to hear the stories about her day when she got home. Later on she spent her time at home with her best friends her mom and dad Marcia and Mike.

Laurie is survived by her parents Mike and Marcia Konold, siblings: Kristie (Eric) York, Paul (Emily) Konold, Mindy (Walker) Powe, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her older sister Heather Cregger.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2pm at the American Fork Cemetery, 26 W 600 N St, American Fork. A viewing will be held prior to the graveside from 1pm to 2pm at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. Please share a memory or condolence at andersonmortuary.com.
