Larry Robert Zimmerman, a loving husband, devoted friend, and passionate outdoorsman, passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 80. He was born on October 3, 1943, in Sacramento, California, to Albert G. Zimmerman and Ella Marie Eisenbeisz Zimmerman.

Larry embarked on a life of adventure, seeking solace and joy in the great outdoors. Larry's expertise and skill in hunting and fishing brought him countless cherished memories in the rugged landscapes he explored.

Larry's journey led him to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he dedicated himself to protecting the freedoms we hold dear. Larry's service was a testament to his unwavering commitment to duty, honor, and love for his fellow soldiers.

Larry married Mary Margaret Loescher Scheminske on March 23, 1974, in South Lake Tahoe. They shared a bond that was unbreakable, forged through a lifetime of shared adventures, laughter, and love. Larry and Mary were a true partnership, supporting each other through the highs and lows of life. Their love was an inspiration to all who knew them.
