Larry Harold Giovannoni was born in Murray, Utah on July 13th, 1951, to Harold & Meda Giovannoni. He attended school at Lehi High School in Lehi as well as attending higher education at Utah Technical College.
He was a member of the Utah National Guard & served in the 115th Engineers and later in the 211th aviation unit in West Jordan at Airport number 2 where he was crew chief working on Apache and Black Hawk helicopters. A veteran, he actively served in Panama during the Noriega conflict in the 1980s.
He was active in the community serving on the ambulance service in American Fork and in Lehi. He also served as a member of the Alpine/Highland fire department.
Larry married Diane Laursen on October 10, 1970. They are the parents of three sons: Justin, Jeremy, and James as well as three grandchildren: Ethan, Carson and Maddie Giovannoni.
He is survived by his wife and children and sisters Diane (Ernie), Susan and Donna (Kevin). He was preceded in death by his parents Meda and Harold, his brothers Kerry and Brian and his sister Lisa.
Larry loved his wife, kids and grandchildren so much that he would have done nearly anything for them.
He passed away on July 10, 2023 of health related issues. A graveside service will be held on July 17th at 10am at the Highland cemetery in Highland Utah.
