LaRae Hardman

LaRae Hardman passed away on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at the age of 91 in Lehi, UT. She was born on April 28, 1930 in American Fork, UT to William & RhuEmma Smith Patrick.

LaRae married Lawrance Hardman on June 6, 1947 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple, April 22, 1955.

LaRae was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served many callings.

LaRae spent most of her life being a stay-at-home mother and wife.  She thought this was her greatest calling and raising a wonderful family was what her and Lawrance wanted from life. Her family meant everything to her and she raised five children that will be eternally grateful for her always being there for them as they were growing up.

LaRae was a beautiful Tole painter and with this skill made many things for her home and family. She was also a talented seamstress and crocheter. She loved a beautiful home and took such great care of it.   She loved flowers and grew many around her yard.

She is survived by her children Bonnie Sewell (Steve), Larry Hardman (Denise), Richard Kim Hardman (Peggy), Annette Ostergaard (Roger), Pamela Elkins (Kevin) and a sister Miriam Francom. She will be remembered also by 17 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.

LaRae was proceeded in death by her parents and step father (Kenneth Francom) also her husband, Lawrance, her sister Geraldine and her brothers Lionel and Gene.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at the Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Chapel located at 6141 West 11000 North, Highland, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 12:00 – 12:45 pm at the mortuary. Interment will take place in the Highland City Cemetery. Please share a memory on LaRae’s Tribute Wall.
