Kenneth Charles Hunt, born on April 29, 1947, to Lorrin Frank Hunt and Myrtle Beatrice Warner, graduated to his Heavenly Home on March 1st, 2023, after a valiant fight with various medical issues.
Ken's early life was filled with learning. He became expert at working with his hands, able to fix just about anything, and was always willing to help his neighbors, his siblings, or the folks on the street. He taught school for years, living in southeastern Utah, as well as in the Uintah Basin, before settling in American Fork for the remainder of his life. He has a deep love for exploration and especially prospecting, having collected many relics and gems over the years. He also has numerous collections of different crafts and tools that he has made over the years, with his very favorite saying being, ''Somebody can probably use that!!!"
Ken has a deep and abiding love of his Savior, Jesus Christ. He served in numerous callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints throughout his life, and was very proud to consider himself and to be considered worthy of all of his Heavenly Father's blessings. Ken is a giver, one who feels his main purpose is to take care of others, as he did for his sister, Elaine, and for his neighbors and friends.
Ken is survived by his two older brothers, Raymond and Rodger Hunt, numerous nieces and nephews, and some very close neighbors, friends, and caregivers, all of whom will miss him very much. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Elaine.
Services will be held at the American Fork 6th-8th Ward Chapel located at 320 N 100 E, at 1pm, followed by interment in the American Fork Cemetery.
And a very big thank you to all of the outstanding health care professionals who took such great care of Ken over the last number of years.
