Keith Gilbert Larsen, beloved husband, father and grandfather, age 87,
passed away June 15, 2015, surrounded by his adoring family in Orem, Utah.
He will be lovingly remembered for his love of family, quick wit and
profound wisdom, his dapper style, love of golf, BYU sports, politics
and his constant testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ. He served
faithfully throughout his life in various callings including two full
time missions as well as serving as a Bishop.
He was born November 14, 1927 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to George Gilbert
Larsen and Vera Stanger Larsen. He married Betty Jean Soelberg on
August 31, 1951 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple and the two have remained
at each other's side for the past 63 years.
Survived by his wife, Betty, children Collette (Ric Mazey) Larsen, Bob
(Linda) Larsen, Michael (Jennifer) Larsen, Sydney (Lee) Snarr, Randy
Larsen, Dallin (Karree) Larsen, Derek (Katy) Larsen, Chad (Robbi)
Larsen, Stacy (Matt) Harmer, Shawn (Jennifer) Larsen, 59 grandchildren,
83 great-grandchildren, and sister Kathleen Peterson. Preceded in death
by his parents, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on June 20, 2015 11:00 a.m. at American Fork
19th Ward, 1350 North 100 East, American Fork. Viewings will be held
Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North,
American Fork and Saturday from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to
