Keegan Anthony Westphal 4-3-1984 TO 12-30-24
Born in Provo Utah to Steven Ralph Westphal and Carol Jean Westphal. His early years were spent hunting and fishing with his Dad and brothers while the family lived in Lindon Utah. He later moved to Cedar Hills with his Dad and Step-Mom (Susy) until their house in Lake Shore was completed.
Keegan graduated from Pleasant Grove High in 2003 then went to work in Oil and Gas, repairing oil rigs all over the country until 2009 when an accident at a plant made that no longer a possibility for him.In 2013 Keegan met the woman of his dreams, Patricia Devey, the person he constantly said grounded him from trying to do the next crazy thing. They dated for a few years then married December 30th 2016 in a very private ceremony, just the way the two of them wanted it. Keegan and Patricia settled in Saratoga Springs and Keegan started working with his father-in-law in his landscaping business, something he loved beyond measure, until he had to stop due to increasing health issues.
He is preceded in death by his father Steve, sister Stephanie, brother Quincy, and son William Paul along with a few uncles and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his step daughter Sydnee, mother Carol, step-mother Susy, sister Katie (Jason) and their 2 children, brother Jeremy and his 5 girls, brother Zak (Amber) and their 4 children, Quincey’s (Daisy) 3 children who Keegan loved as his own, 7 Step siblings and all of their children, as well as mother and father-in-laws Lori and Mark Clutter, and Ron and Penney Devey plus many sister and Brother in laws and nieces and nephews.
We as a family are asking for all that knew Keegan to just live as he did:
Live each day to the fullest Give to those who have less than you.
Spend time with your loved ones.
Play a silly prank just to make someone laugh.
And live each day like it’s your last.
The family would like to send their great love and appreciation for the Saratoga Springs Police department and EMS as well as all the amazing neighbors and friends in the SSOA.
