Kathleen Ash

d. March 6, 2016

Kathy saw life as an adventure and everybody around her was invited to join in the fun. She is leaving behind her two daughters Kelly McConochie (Doug McConochie) and Lindsay Ash (Steve Northcutt), her grandson Cory McConochie (the boy she always wanted), and her three weiner dogs Kenny, Daisy and Sammy. She was comforted by the fact that she would be joining her baby Cory William and her two dogs Woody and Louie who went before her.
Kathy spent every day of her life really living. She was good at turning boredom into an adventure, whether it was an impromptu road trip, an ambitious household project, seeking out deals or playing a game of Farkle. She loved music of all sorts. The soundtrack of her life was The Beatles, classic musicals and Rock & Roll old and new. She loved astrology and using it to learn more about the people she loved. She was one of the funniest, strongest and most independent gals around. She reveled in making the people around her laugh. She was competitive and determined and she conquered every uphill battle except this last one, the fight against the brain cancer that ultimately won. She is thankful for her partners in this crusade, her sister Sue who kept the whole family sane and fed through the two-year fight, her mom Gail who moved back to Utah at the perfect time, Dr. Cohen and his team at Huntsman, and all of the friends and family who supported and showed their love through the best and worst of times. She had an impact on many and she will be missed.
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough. - The Beatles
