Karla Newmeyer

Karla Andreason Newmeyer (76) passed away on December 26, 2020 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born on October 28, 1944 in American Fork, UT to Karl & Mae Andreason.

Karla was an amazing woman who was adored by many people. She was a mother, wife and grandmother. She loved and cherished her grandchildren so much. Her grandchildren were her world and she always looked forward to being with them.

She was a very talented artist. She created the most beautiful oil paintings. She loved to work with her hands and she enjoyed and was quite skilled in carpentry/cabinet making. Her love for animals was endless and she adored her pet Chihuahua.

Karla enjoyed her time that she had working with the handicap children in the Alpine School District. She was also a school bus aid and loved doing that job and spending time with the children. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and all who knew her.

Karla is survived by her husband Howard and her children: Clinton Myers, Jolynn Elton, Trina Frandsen and many grandchildren.
