Joseph Lee Fadely, 59, passed away September 28, 2019, in Orem, Utah. He was born July 12, 1960, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Kennith Lee Fadely and Elia Josefina Sanchez. He married Kelly Ann Baker on November 24, 2006, in Lehi, Utah and they were sealed exactly a year later in the Provo Temple.
Joe served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fresno, California. He was passionate about physical fitness. He served in the United States Army for 22 years. Everywhere he lived, he was a positive resource for building up others, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Joe loved singing hymns, reading his scriptures, and taking family names to the temple.
He loved all of his family with his whole heart and is survived by his wife Kelly; his son Erik Fadely; his step-children: Colten (Stephanie) Crandall, Casey (Lasca) Crandall, Kade (Jenna) Crandall, and Jessica Crandall; his siblings: Anna (Dale) Arnold, Wanda (Bret) Corbridge, Evelyn (Brad) Christensen, Robert Fadely, Wesley (Mila) Fadely, and Kathy (Tim) Phillis; a grandson, Ronin Crandall and a granddaughter, Rosie Crandall. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the Hillcrest 6th Ward, 150 West 1120 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and Friday at the church from 12:15-1:45 PM.
