John Richard "Jack" Wilson, 71, of American Fork, passed away May 17, 2018 in Provo Utah. Born May 6, 1947 in Bingham Canyon, Utah the son of Richard and Judith Marie Forsberg Wilson. Jack was a Vietnam veteran serving in the army 1967- 68. Jack had many careers during his life but will be remembered for working for and retiring from Kennecott Copper. Later In his life Jack became an artist who shared his passion for welding by sharing his art "the amazing balancing man, tommyknockers, frogs, and other metal creations" with many friends and members of the community. Jack had a story for every occasion and was a friend to many. Survived by his nieces and nephews: James Lamper; Judy Lamper; Jody Landry; Eric (Wendy) Conder; and his companion, Cheryl Moore. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 23, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork where a viewing will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to the services. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
