John Sheets

John Leland Sheets, (63) passed away at his home in Orem, Utah Monday, February 22, 2021.  He was born on October 31, 1957 in Provo, Utah to Robert and Shirlee Sheets. John married Kaylene Ruth Jackson on December 20, 1985 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together they raised their 6 beautiful children.

John had an extensive stamp and coin collection. He loved reading books and working on his cars and motorcycle. He was very good with his hands and could fix anything. He enjoyed watching sports and being able to talk about them with all his children. John had a love for cooking and baking. He was always looking for new recipes or working on how to make one better. His greatest passion was for his children and grandchildren. He was always ready to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife, Kaylene Sheets, children, Shelley (Samuel) Barnes, Brett (Jaicee) Sheets, Jennifer (Eric) Mejia, Christopher (Ashley) Sheets, Kellie (Jordan) Smith, Curtis Sheets and 8 Grandchildren.  He is preceded in Death by his parents, Robert and Shirlee Sheets.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Lone Peak Chapel, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland, UT 84003.  Due to COVID 19 restrictions seating is limited and by invitation; however, all are invited to participate via the zoom link provided below. A viewing will be held from 10:45-11:45 AM for friends and family, but only those invited may stay for the funeral services.  Interment will be in the Timpanogos Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1000 North 400 East, Orem, UT 84097.
