Jennie Herrera Calderon's journey on this earthly realm came to a peaceful end on October 22, 2024, in American Fork, Utah, surrounded by her family. Born in Cerro, New Mexico, on May 1, 1942, to Alfredo and Faustina Herrera. Jennie was a dedicated mother and a talented cook who graced many restaurant kitchens with her culinary skills. Despite facing illness for some time, her spirit shone bright with love for her family.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Antonio Calderon, who shared countless cherished moments with her throughout their years together her son: Juan Calderon, grandchildren Cristal Caldreon and Raquel Calderon and her sisters Frances Laforett, Erma Pineda, and Lillian Norton. Jennie's selfless nature and caring heart touched the lives of many, and her presence will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Please join us in paying tribute to Jennie's memory at the upcoming funeral services. A rosary will be held at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on October 28, 2024, starting at 11:00 am, followed by a Mass at the same church at 12:00 pm. Prior to this, a Public viewing will take place at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork on October 27, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
As we gather to bid farewell to this remarkable woman, let us reflect on the warmth and love she shared with all those around her. Jennie's legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and though we mourn her passing, we find solace in knowing she now rests in a better place.
