Jeffry Larson

February 26, 1949 — September 30, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jeffry Hale Larson, who left this world on September 30, 2024, at the age of 75. Jeff, a proud father of four and a dedicated professor at Brigham Young University, touched the lives of many through his work in Family and Marriage Therapy. His humor and warmth endeared him to all. Born on February 26, 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Hale Joseph Larson and Donna Arlene Broome Larson, Jeff will always be remembered for his passion of teaching, his love for BYU sports, and his adventures in the great outdoors. An accomplished author, Jeff published three books and shared his knowledge and wisdom with countless students throughout his career.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jeff had a great love for playing golf, racket ball, and hiking in Southern Utah's breathtaking landscapes. He instilled a love for nature in his children. He also enjoyed the rock and roll of the sixties era.

He is survived by his children: Geoffrey Hale (Kerstin) Larson and their children Cameron Jeffrey Larson and Jayden Carl Larson, Dillon Jay Larson, Tyler Joseph Larson (Neda Kiani), and Hallie Jean Larson, his ex wife Jeannie Spear and his siblings: Marc Larson, Todd Larson and Brad Larson. He was preceded in death by his parents Hale Larson, Donna Larson and his youngest brother, Blake Larson and a sister-in-law Diana Larson.

A celebration of life to honor Jeff will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. Jeff's legacy of kindness, laughter, and dedication will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
