Jeffrey Morse, 66, passed away on February 20, 2023, in Pleasant Grove, UT after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Jeff was born in San Diego, California to Robert Morse and Patricia McCune.
Jeff grew up in San Diego and graduated from Crawford High School in 1974. He would marry Robin Ohlson in 1975 and together they raised their two children, Justin and Nicolle, in Escondido, California.
Jeff got his start in the restaurant industry as a busboy for the Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown San Diego. He was able to work his way up to becoming a general manager and managed several Old Spaghetti Factories throughout California. He went on to become an operations director for Popeye's Chicken before landing with Domino's Pizza. Jeff worked for Domino's Pizza as the vice president of a franchise before eventually becoming a franchisee himself. In his 30 years with Domino's he was able to not only provide a good life for his family but also be a leader and mentor to countless others over the years.
Jeff had a lifelong passion for sports that he passed onto his children. He loved his hometown San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres and San Diego State Aztecs and was a frequent attendee of their games throughout the decades. He was fortunate to be able to see numerous major sporting events over the years and experience all the highs and lows that came with being a San Diego sports fan.
Jeff loved traveling and made it a priority to see as much of the world as he could. He did just that over years visiting all over from London to Tokyo, St. Petersburg to Sydney, Beijing to Auckland, Paris to Athens and many more. He enjoyed not just the sights of traveling but most of all meeting people from all over the world.
Jeff was always happy to help with charitable activities and was able to work with many charitable organizations throughout San Diego. His work with organizations like the YMCA, San Diego Blood Bank, San Diego Bone Marrow Foundation, and Interfaith Community Services to name a few left a lasting mark on many others. He was also active in multiple Christian churches in San Diego where he lived out his faith and shared the meaning and value it gave to him and others.
Jeff's legacy will be not only the children and grandchildren that he loved deeply but also all the people he made laugh, shared a story with, lent a helping hand to, prayed with, and who just got to experience the wit and humor that was Jeffrey Morse.
Jeff is survived by his children: Nicolle (Joe) Cobuccio, Justin (Stephanie) Morse, grandchildren Nixon Borton, Peyton Cobuccio, Harper Morse, Madison Morse, brothers, James (Elizabeth) Morse, Gary (Freddie) Morse. Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Patricia Morse.
